THE HISTORY OF OUR CELESTIAL LINE

WWR Lupin was one of our first rats ❤️ we got him from Wild Whiskers Rattery Gauteng in early 2018.

Named after "Remus Lupin" from #HarryPotter, Lupin was one of the best rats I've ever had. He was sweet, he was playful, he ADORED baby rats ❤️

In his prime, Lupin weighed 480g! Which is quite substantial for a hairless rat.

Unfortunately, hairless rats do come with health issues, and we lost Lupin a little after his first birthday 💔

As the founding buck of our #CelestialLine, Lupin's progeny still exists in our rattery today.

His son, IMGN Remus, has just sired 2 litters. We have high hopes for these rittens. ✨😍

Will we ever return to breeding hairless? Time will tell. But we can guarantee that our goals will be to producing rats as incredible as Lupin was.

The #Celestial line carries: Variety: Blue, Russian Silver, Russian Blue, Russian Blue Burmese, Burmese, Russian Blue point siamese, & Siamese. (Black based) Coat: Standard & Hairless Ear: Standard & Dumbo Markings: Self, Irish, Berkshire, hooded, & blazes _____________________________________________

Lupin's progeny can also be found in the following ratteries:

All Rat Rattery - IMGN "Moon" - IMGN Romulus All Rat Rattery has bred some incredible babies from this line so far. We cannot wait to see how she progresses with her Russian Blue and Siamese lines.

Calico Rodentry South Africa & Mischief Managed Rattery - South Africa - IMGN Angel Calico had produced amazing Russian Blue Burmese from some of Lupin's grandchildren thus far. And some plans include Russian silver and improving the blue line, along with Mischief Managed, in the future.

Wild Whiskers Rattery Gauteng - IMGN Lourdes - IMGN Reggie - IMGN Ronnie Wild Whiskers has already produced stunning Russian blue babies who have made incredible pets in homes. Some of these babies were sent to Calico for her Russian blue Burmese line. _____________________________________________
